Jothi Purushotaman is the Honorary Chair for JDRF’s North Central Connecticut and Western Massachusetts Chapter’s 2008 Promise Ball.

Since 2005, Jothi Purushotaman has served as UTC's Vice President of Operations where he oversees the $54 billion corporation's global supply management, manufacturing and quality functions. Under his leadership, UTC was awarded Purchasing Magazine's 2006 Medal of Professional Excellence.

Purushotaman joined UTC in 1974 and has held a variety of important financial positions at Otis and Carrier before becoming Pratt & Whitney's Vice President, Controller in 1993. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pratt & Whitney, a position held for nine years before joining UTC's corporate headquarters.
