JDRF Promise Ball 2010
"Cirque du Cure...An Evening at the Moulin Rouge"

Welcome!

We invite you to help make a difference by attending the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) 2010 Promise Ball, "Cirque du Cure, An Evening at the Moulin Rouge," on Saturday, May 1, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The Promise Ball will be an exciting and inspirational evening of dinner and entertainment that will move us closer to achieving JDRF's mission of finding a cure for diabetes.

The proceeds of this annual fundraiser are critical for JDRF to support the research needed to find the cure for diabetes. The gala will offer opportunities to help support JDRF through both silent and live auctions, as well as the chance to make a direct contribution to JDRF's research efforts through the Fund A Cure program.

The latest statistics show that as many as 24 million Americans are affected by some form of the disease. As parents of children with juvenile diabetes, each of us knows first-hand the around-the-clock regimen need to strictly manage this disease and prevent devastating complications. During the Promise Ball's program, you will be touched by a personal account of life with diabetes by a representative from the local chapter and will hear how JDRF-funded research has made enormous progress.

We are extremely proud to be serving as the honorary co-chairs for the JDRF Promise Ball, and are looking forward to presenting Travelers Chairman and CEO Jay Fishman with the "Star of Hope" Award for Travelers' commitment to JDRF.

We look forward to seeing you on May 1. Together, we can be part of the cure.

Sincerely,
